Sprint Blackberry 8330 Software Updates
Blackberry Software Update?
I have the Blackberry Curve 8330 through Sprint. It has software version 4.3 and the people at Sprint told me to update to the 4.5 version. I have already had my contacts and stuff added to my phone and have already set up my e-mail through Blackberry. If i update my software, will everything including my contacts be erased through my phone? Is there a big difference between version 4.3 and 4.5??? i need to know soon. Thanks so much in advance :]

I’m using the 8830 on sprint which is essentially the same thing as your phone, without the camera. I recommend upgrading to 4.5 due to it being newer and it also allows you to use such sites as youtube and allows you to stream audio/video. I have also seen that it runs a bit faster than 4.3.
About your contacts, the upgrade backs up your files and applications before upgrading and puts it back on after upgrading. I recommend doing a backup before the upgrade as a precaution.
