Ticker symbol that tracks Gold?

I don’t mean an ETF or index (like ^XAU) unless it closely tracks the price per oz so that the current ticker value is between $600 and $700 (whatever gold is trading at now).
The symbol should work at Yahoo Finance or Reuters.

Do you want the spot price or the futures price? London or NYSE? The futures price is a pain, having to figure out the contract symbol each month.

Ticker symbol GLD will track the spot price, but you’ll have to move the decimal over one place. But it’s maintenance free.
