Gold Over Silver Bracelets
Buying Jewlery??
Ok, I want to buy this bracelet for my best friend thats a girl and I’m a boy. Anyway, do girls like sterling silver over gold, or diamonds over gold? And if there is a heart on the bracelet would that be wrong since I’m just her best friend? What do you guys suggest? I’m gonna spend like at most $60, since there sales everywhere.

I know what you’re talking about I have been in your boat before.
As for a girls preference for “Silver or Gold” I think it largely depends upon the type of Girl and the type of Jewelry. I think that girls largely prefer Gold, but if they were to have the option of a Gold Bracelet or a “Tiffany & Co” Sterling Silver bracelet, they would opt for the T & Co or one that looks similar to it. As I said it all depends upon the girl and her preferences (if she is into the Hollywood stars she would probably want something sterling that looks like T & Co).
I would not suggest that you get her anything with a heart on it. Just from my personal experiences (and largely depending upon what type of girl she is) a heart, especially on a piece of jewelry, sends the message that you are more than just “best friends”. I learned the hard way, that when it comes to gifts and jewelry, girls don’t think the way “us guys do”. They usually get different meanings from their gifts than we would.
