Black Tie Optional Attire
“sunday attire” on a wedding invitation?
has anyone ever heard of someone using the term “sunday attire” on a wedding invitation? is this a southern thing or something? lol i’ve only ever seen casual, black tie, black tie optional, etc.
and what exactly does this mean? i’m assuming it means nice clothing and maybe more day than evening clothing? would a not too casual, not too dressy dress work for a girl?

my concern about the “conservative” thing is that the wedding is in the middle of august in virginia…not exactly good for covering up! i definitely don’t dress provacatively but would a not too short sleeveless dress be showing too much skin?
also the reception is outside…
it basically means whatever you would normally wear to a church. so something more conservative/modest, and more on the dressy end of things.
